For removal of impurities deposited upon surface during manufacturing processes. Shot blasting gives a nice & clean surface to the components.

Nickel Plating

Containing good volume of copper , brass components get oxidized quickly in contact with moisture or air. To avoid oxidation of outer surface, nickel plating is widely used for brass components.
